Lone Star Park Horse Races

This world class thoroughbred racing facility is located right in the middle of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex in Grand Prairie.

The track is open for simulcast races seven days a week year-round. Live racing dates are April 12 through July 29 on Thursday through Sunday for the 2007 Spring Thoroughbred Season. There are more than 150 television screens as well as a sports bar and restaurant.

Live races begin at 6:35 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays and the first live race starts at 1:35 p.m. on Saturdays and Sunday. The 2011 Fall Meeting of Champions will be from October 5 through December 1 with racing from Wednesday through Saturday. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. with the first live race at 6:35 p.m.

The park’s grandstand is a seven level glass-enclosed climate-controlled building with penthouse suites, terraced trackside dining room, box seats and outdoor seating.
